We pay the costs that keep a child out of school.
No pilots, no theory. We work with schools in Akure and Jos, cover what a child needs to enrol and stay enrolled, and check that the money did what we said it would.

STEP BY STEP
From first conversation to first term.
01
We find the schools where the need is greatest
We start with how many children at a school need support to stay enrolled. That number tells us where our money goes furthest.

We meet the leaders and look at the teaching
We interview the head teacher and school leadership, and review the curriculum and the children's grades. Paying fees at a school that is not teaching well helps nobody. We only partner where a child's year in class is worth funding.

We sign an agreement
Every partner school signs an intake and partnership agreement covering the payment schedule, record-keeping, and the privacy of every child and family involved.

The school tells us which children to fund
Teachers know who is missing class because of money and whose fees have fallen behind. Those are the children we fund, named by the school that sees them every day.

We pay at the start of each term
Funding goes to the school at the beginning of the term, against enrolment and academic standing that the school has confirmed.

Someone visits and keeps visiting
Our coordinator in Nigeria meets with supported children, their guardians, and their schools, confirms attendance, and reports any barriers to a child staying in class.

Every purchase is receipted and reconciled
Goods bought are matched against goods distributed, with receipts kept for every purchase and a record of every child or guardian who received them.

A learning centre, in time.
Our long-term goal is a place where children do more than pass exams. Reading rooms, art studios, a farm, a wood shop, robotics, and computer science. Swimming, hiking, field trips. Room to pitch an idea, show your work, take an internship.
